Mark Brisley
Managing Director & Head, Dynamic Funds
Mark is responsible for the strategic execution and overall management of Dynamic Funds in Canada. Most recently, Mark led the initiative at Dynamic to bring the experience and track record of their portfolio management capabilities in Hedge Funds and Alternatives to the new asset class of Liquid Alternatives. With a career that spans over 25 years in the asset management and distribution arenas, Mark carries a strong understanding of the needs of advisors and investment dealers and how innovative products and strategies assist in more effective portfolio construction solutions.

Ramesh Kashyap
Managing Director, Alternative Income Group, Ninepoint Partners
Ramesh is a Managing Director at Ninepoint. He has oversight of Ninepoint’s alternative investment strategies, including private debt. Ramesh is also responsible for finding and developing differentiated strategies to grow Ninepoint’s alternative income platform. Prior to joining Ninepoint, Ramesh was Head of Acquisitions for PRA Group Canada; global leader in acquiring non-performing debt from financial institutions. Ramesh started his career in equipment finance at GE Capital, before moving on to corporate lending. Over a span of 15 years, Ramesh progressed through building, growing and managing credit platforms at GE, CIT Group and Wachovia (Wells Fargo). Having originated over $7B in transactions, his industry experience is broad and across asset classes throughout United States and Canada. Ramesh is a graduate of University of Toronto’s business program specializing in finance and economics.

Dennis E. MacPherson
Senior Vice President, SGGG Fund Services Inc.
Mr. Dennis MacPherson has diverse experience in investment fund operations. He began his career with TD Bank Financial Group supporting Greenline Investor Services (now TD Waterhouse Canada), then spent time at AGF Management Ltd., and was then a Director for Unisen Inc. (since bought and exited by Citigroup). He then returned to TD Bank to run the Client Transfer Services area, for all products and business lines of the Wealth Management Division. He then accepted a senior management role in Investment Fund Operations, where he was responsible for transaction processing for all TD brokerage and retail distribution channels, and all TD Mutual Funds products. He was then recruited by Felcom Data Services Inc. as the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, responsible for all day-to-day operations, until it was acquired by CIBC Mellon. After ensuring an orderly transition of all Clients, staff and business processes, he made the decision to assume his current role at SGGG. Mr. MacPherson has been an industry leader in process improvement change as a Member or Chair of several Committees and Working Groups, and is currently an active Member of the FundSERV Standards Steering Committee (SSC). He has also participated in several high-profile speaking engagements for IFIC, the CCMA, PMAC and AIMA.

Chris McHaney
Director, Portfolio Manager, Exchange Traded Funds BMO Global Asset Management
Chris has more than 16 years of experience in the investment industry and currently serves as portfolio manager for equity-based and derivative-based mandates. This includes Canadian, US, international and emerging market equities, and North American derivatives. He co-manages various cross-asset portfolios, which include Canadian, US and global fixed income and commodities based investments. In addition, Chris trades foreign exchange contracts and equity options for mandates across the firm. In his previous role, he was responsible for mutual fund manager monitoring and selection, as well as overseeing the currency hedging program across the mutual fund platform. Chris holds an Honours Business Administration degree from York University’s Schulich School of Business and is a CFA charterholder.

Wes Mills
Chief Investment Officer, OKR Financial
Wes has 35 years’ experience as an investment professional in finance, portfolio management and asset allocation in both traditional and alternative assets. In the last year he did consulting work on wealth management with a major Credit Union. He was the Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio manager of a private debt portfolio for a leading Exempt Market Dealer for over two years. Prior to that he was with a leading Canadian Bank for over 30 years, spending the bulk of his career in various portfolio management roles ultimately becoming the Chief Investment Officer for the Mutual Fund and Private Client Groups where he was responsible for up to $45bln in assets under management.
He is now the Chief Investment Officer of OKR Financial which primarily lends to companies secured by Government Finance Program (GFP) tax credits as well as traditional commercial bridge financing. Wes works with the credit underwriting team to originate loans as well as the Investment Management group as they service the needs of high net worth clients, family offices and institutional accounts.
Wes graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Commerce and MBA. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Daniel Stanley

Daniel's 18 years of experience in the capital markets industry includes positions in sales and investment management in Toronto and New York City. During his 7 years at CIBC World Markets he developed expertise in helping advisors use structured products and foreign exchange solutions. He managed global currency exposure at Bloomberg LP, and previously held a role as an investment advisor at RBC Dominion Securities, where he advised clients on security selection and portfolio management. Daniel's consultative approach to working with investors is well suited to increasing the awareness of BMO ETFs among retail and institutional clients. Daniel is a CFA Charterholder and holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from McGill University.
